Australian Standard Inspections. No Damage.

All GippSpec inspections are completed under the Australian Standards and inspection requirements applicable to the service being provided. Pre-purchase building inspections are conducted under AS 4349.1–2007.

We combine real trade experience with modern inspection equipment to give you the clearest possible picture of a property's condition without opening up, removing, or damaging any part of the building.

Leading Technology. Safe Inspections. Built for Confidence.

Modern equipment supports the visual inspection and helps document concerns more clearly. It does not replace practical building knowledge or remove the limitations of a non-invasive inspection.

Drone Inspections

Assists with viewing roof areas where safe physical access is unavailable and weather, site conditions and permissions allow.

Thermal Imaging

Highlights temperature differences that may indicate moisture, insulation or other conditions requiring further investigation.

Moisture Meter

Measures moisture levels in accessible materials and helps support further assessment of staining, deterioration and suspected water entry.

Inspection Camera

Assists with viewing accessible cavities and restricted spaces without removing building linings.

Levelling Equipment

Helps assess floor variation and document visible signs of movement or settlement.

The equipment provides additional information, but every finding is considered through practical building experience.

Our Inspections

Whether you're buying, selling or checking the condition of a property, GippSpec provides practical inspection services backed by genuine building experience and clear reporting.

Combined Building & Pest Inspection

A building inspection and timber-pest inspection completed during the same property visit. The building and timber-pest findings remain clearly separated within the report, giving you a practical understanding of the property before purchase.

Pre-Purchase Building Inspection

A visual inspection of accessible building areas to identify significant defects, safety concerns, minor defects and general maintenance issues. The report explains what was found, why it matters and the appropriate next step.

Timber Pest Inspection

An inspection for visible evidence of termites, timber borers, fungal decay and conditions that may increase the risk of timber-pest attack. The report also considers visible evidence of previous activity, damage or treatment.

Pre-Sale Inspection

Understand the visible condition of your property before it is listed for sale. A pre-sale inspection allows concerns to be investigated or addressed before buyers begin making enquiries or arranging their own inspections.
